WHAT IS A BETTER FORT?
A Better Fort can be compared to the nice older brother that never gets into trouble…. BAALS is the ADHD brother who can’t stay out of trouble. BAALS Music Festival was initially facilitated and hosted by volunteers dedicated to building up a better central city in Fort Wayne, Indiana. To this day A Better Fort is very much a part of the festival. The organization is responsible for attracting and facilitating all volunteers and they are also responsible for picking the charity to donate our annual contribution of $5,000. For more on A Better Fort see their mission at www.abetterfort.org
WHY DO YOU DONATE $5,000 EACH YEAR TO A NON-PROFIT?
Since year 1 when BAALS was called #House4aHouse we’ve made it a point to incorporate a philanthropic aspect to the event. Non-profits do amazing things for our communities and they depend on donation and grants for their operations. Each year we aim to donate $5,000 to a non-profit selected by A Better Fort.
